CHW Core Skills Training in Delaware
If you want to become a certified Community Health Worker, the first step is completing an approved core skills training program. CHWAD recognizes four accredited providers offering this training across the state, at no cost or low cost, in formats and locations that work for different schedules and communities.
Accredited CHW Core Skills Training Providers
The programs below have been reviewed and approved by the CHWAD Coordinating Council. Completing one of these programs qualifies you to apply for CHW certification through the Standard Pathway.
Interested in becoming an accredited Delaware CHW Core Skills Training Provider? Individuals who complete CHW Core Skills training through approved providers are eligible for CHW Certification in DE. Register for DPH training through CHECK
The DPH Core Skills Training program runs through CHECK, Delaware’s CHW training and certification platform. After completing the training, you can log back into CHECK to apply for certification, track your professional development hours, and manage your recertification.
Backed by the Delaware Division of Public Health, CHECK brings together training and certification into one place so CHWs can manage their credentials from start to finish.
